Today was the last day to turn in Charleston Wrap orders! If you still have your order form, please return it tomorrow with your money!
I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable fall break! I am glad we had this time to rejuvenate and get ready for Term 2!
I want to thank all of my wonderful parents! I set a goal for myself to have all conferences completed by October 8 and we did it! I have 100% of parent conferences done! Thank you SO much! Picture Day is Thursday, October 16. This is the picture that goes in our yearbook! Wear your Sunday best and bring that smile! IMPORTANT!!! We are having a garden work day on Sunday, October 26 and we need all the hard workers that we can get! We will begin the winterizing process in our gardens. The reason for doing this on a weekend is because it is the only day that Ms. Christine, our wonderful TN Aquarium partner, can come and help us. If you are able to come, please send me an email or note ASAP! Thank you so much! Also, on November 5 we are having a committee come to Brookwood for our official STEM review!! We are very excited to showcase our garden and monarch work for the committee. I would love to have some parent volunteers this day since we will have loads of fun activities planned. Let me know if you are interested. The times would be 8:45-12:00. You can stay the whole time, or drop by when you are available. All help is appreciated! Be on the lookout for an email from Bre D’Arienzo containing a volunteer calendar! Sorry for the delay, I have never done one before and it took me a while to figure out what our classroom needs would be! Thank you for your patience! Don’t forget about our book orders! The deadline is October 22. Every child has a coupon for a FREE book worth up to $5 when you spend $10 or more! Order online at https://orders.scholastic.com/1FDQX Don’t forget you can view all catalogs online! If you ever have any questions or concerns, feel free to email me at [email protected]. Whichever class has sold the most items by tomorrow gets their door wrapped up in wrapping paper! Keep up the great work! |
